“NoOne Accident” policy is both a goal and an achievement at SFE. The company implements its comprehensive Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policy to protect all employees and associates working at construction sites and related facilities. It includes protection from every kind of pollution, hazard and accident that may result from its business.
Together with the active participation and supports of all SFE Family and business partners, the “fundamental principles” hereunder have been adopted for all the decisions which affect our activities on quality, environment, health and safety issues in compliance with the ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001 international standards and integrated with the Legal Requirements:
• To perform and execute all activities pursuant to the laws in force and business ethics under the requirements of social and environmental responsibilities,
• To inform all SFE employees the importance of fulfillment of legal conditions and customer requirements,
• To be receptive for continuous development and to fulfill the requirements of customer expectations ideally,
• To ensure a flexible management which meets the requirements by the customer focused project execution programme and competitive price strategy,
• To execute the most convenient scientific solutions within our knowledge and experience in fields out of the scope of the law and the legislation,
• To execute all activities without compromising the occupational health and safety requirements,
• To determine the risks regarding occupational safety and environment, to avoid them or to take the required measures in order to minimize their effects,
• To perform the required efforts in order to ensure for our business partners to perform works in high quality as well as safely and securely in terms of environmental issues,
• Regarding environmental, health and safety issues, to set targets which will provide the sustainable development and to monitor the performance orientated to reach these targets,
• To Train and empower personnel for identification and reduction of the impacts of their professional activities on the environment
• To Achieve and maintain the sites in compliance with laws and regulations, whether applicable locally, regionally, internationally or within the SFE organization.
• To Prevent pollution through the design, manufacture, treatment and recycle of products minimizing adverse environmental impacts.
• To Design, construct and manage sites minimizing wastes and other environmental nuisances.
• To Reduce energy consumption and optimize natural resources.
• To Communicate with clients and suppliers to improve combined environmental management.
•To Implement a measurement system in order to verify continual improvement of the Environmental Management System
• To provide the training and resources which will render the required knowledge and experience for the employees of SFE Construction for execution of these principles as well as qualified performance of their works,
• To develop a culture for SFE employees where the aforesaid principles are shared.
SFE will always have a comprehensive HSE training program to increase awareness of safety, to teach safer working practices and to promote environmental adherence.
Health, safety and environment are, in fact, its highest priority. SFE recognizes and acknowledges the importance of achieving world-class performance with respect to protection of HSE on every project as an integral part of its organizational culture. All personnel are encouraged to actively engage in all the HSE programs and every conceivable effort is made to provide all the necessary training and development to enforce the project requirements to attain its “NoOne Accident” policy.
